opps!

I havent updated in OVER A MONTH!

well recently we have just been preparing for our move to Scott AFB in Illinois! we are getting so excited i cant wait to just be settled in.

but before we go to Scott sam gets to take leave so he can go home and see his family well hopefully be in ohio for almost 3 weeks! sam hasnt saw a good bit of his family members in almost a year since he joined!

but since last update ive went home to ohio for a few days for my nephews Kolton birthday my big boy is two! and i stayed with my sister and my mom so i could spend equal time with each of them!

Sam and I are just enjoying our time next to the beach lately

and i hope to go to pensacola soon too its about an hour and a half away or so!

and MMAAYYBBBEEE back to new orleans too thats also only an hour away.

i also watched the royal wedding with My sam and the Edwards.. it was awesome and kate middleton was gorgeous!!!

its been 11 days too long!

well a lot has happened lately good and bad


im back from ohio currently and spending time with samuel =]

we plan on going to ship island saturday

we went to WWII muesam also!

it was amazing

we saw a 4d movie and it was awesome

only 12 more weeks left in biloxi

im going to miss it so much

i enjoy the warmth and laying out on the beach esp after being in ohio

im still sick of course im always sick i think it was the cold then hot in biloxi and the COOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLDDDDD in ohio

im getting stressed out about the moving out inspection and getting tmo scheduled even tho we still have 4 months

im getting use tot he fact of not living around ppl i know anymore.

its funny how when you move away 99.9% of your friends forget about you.

i have 4 friends who i can say regulary contact me or answer when i call or text.

those are the only 4 i need i have my family and them and im good.

it bothered me for a little while how these ppl dropped off the face of the earth after being such great friends but now im getting used to it. o well i need to do a mass delete off facebook again lol

o well off to watch teen mom 2 season finale!

its been eventful lately working a lot as usual

sandra came to see me and her visit was great we got to sit around and relas when we actally DID get to see each other.

i worked a lot when she was here.

but lately life has been so good. today sam and i went to the beach and relaxed alll day

sammy hamm has to march in the air show or something or other LOL im not  really sure

i cannot wait to see my family in just a few more days to come!

were still waiting to find out our station hopefully sooner than later! I HATE waiting.

life is normal here in the McCanna house hold. Kodi being a goof and Klutz being a little diva and keesler being a kitten (insane)

she still is just so crazy she hasnt calmed down a bit but she has grown a lot! and her and kodiak are still the best of friends.

Ill be visiting with family soon only about 2 more weeks

i CANNOT wait to see them and to see my nephews.

Sam has rank finally!! YAYAYAYAAYAY!!! im so proud of him im making him an A1C cake. that says congrats A1C McCanna then im going to draw his rank! lol ill post a picture so everyone can see how it turns out. i really am so proud of him tho he was so excited when he picked it up from the cleaners! hes no longer a "slick sleeve"

My bff Sandra will be here in BASICALLY 3 days im so excited although i do have to work while shes here bc i didnt have enough time to request it off =[ but it should be fun

speakin of friends i updated on my facebook how grateful i am for my friends and family of course mine and sams

i just meet so many people who i like at first then they get with their husbands and they are comp. different ppl. I would never be like that most likely bc sam allows me to be myself around him i dont have to fake what i like or dont like. or who i am in general ive met SO many like that tho it gets old and i dont want to be their friends any more.

but with that being said! i have some really truly great friends like sandra and cassy and ariel and im in the process of making some more! friendship should never feel forced and with these girls it never does.

i like being able to say whatever on my blog i get so annoyed when i write something on my facebook and ppl say is this about me?! (although ive done that too lol) its nice that its my blog and my opinion and i can vent on here!!

i have a lot of friends who are very opionated and ppl are so harsh to them on their wall. i had this one friend who stated that her husband said the humidity was dripping off buildings and this girl like attacked her saying she lived there for 6 years and that NEVER happened... its like well... ok? i didnt ask you lol then a couple weeks later i saw humidty dripping off the buildings here HAHA so i made a point to tell her! we had a laugh!

long week ahead of us!

Hopefully we find out this week where we are going but i doubt it. Were still hoping for illinois or louisana or south carolina  but well take whatever at this point.

The animals are doing great keesler and Kodi love each other klutzy is finally warming up to her. I love klutz so much she is such a mommys girl she always wants to be near me sleep on my face but i dont mind bc shes my little princess.

sam is still doing good in school he is third in the class and seems to be getting it more and more

yesterday we went to the beach and sam got bit by a crab!! well pinched i guess. he was in a lot of pain im thinking it must have got a vein bc he was bleeding A LOT his foot was covered but we played frisbee on the beach anyway. we buried jacob and ariel in the sand

i cant wait for my vacation at the end of march imiss my family but it will be weird flying alone!!

we did our taxes and should be getting a good chunk back! hopefully it comes soon!!

Then Louisana is REALLY nice too! you can live in historic housing which sam and i wld love this is a picture of the modern housing!

i think those are our first two choices. we wld love to go to hawaii or germany but we want to pay off debt and save money now!

and its expensive to pcs there maybe well take a vacation there

i just want to know so i can start planning!

the weekend went so fast but i loved it so much. They were so happy to play on the beach.

When Koly saw me he was sitting in the car screaming TREY TREY TREY!!!! he couldnt sit still in his car seat. and kayden jumped out of the car and hugged me and i got a nice long hug from rachel and jesse.

I then took Rachel and the boys on base to go see the drill down buuutttt we got there literally right after it ended. So we went to the BX and went home and OF COURSE the boys were so excited to see Uncle Sam. We went to this Place called Kangarooz and it was AWESOME it was basically just a house full of inflatible bouncy houses and the boys went insane! we had a blast!!

So sams class submitted their grades finally! Sam is in third place and the two men who are before him are tied for first place i told sam hes basically second =] lol jk

but there is only 6 bases availble to us!

The kids in first place want Germany and Illinois so we prob wont get either of those!
so maybe hawaii then trade for illinois or maybe hawaii and keep it!

Were so excited and nervous my mind is ticking with it 24/7 i cant stop thinking about where were going to go. Hickam (hawaii) is GORGEOUS!

Valentines Day!

soo today i have a surprise for my baby ! im making him a heart shaped cake and ive been looking at all the cake decorating book and michaels offers classes so i think i can make him a nice cake!!

this is what im using to make it! i was going to decorate his car with valentines day stuff but there was a bravo alert thingy activated soo i prob shouldnt or ill get arrested on base LOL
but im also making us sandwhiches to have a picnic on the beach =] which of course ill be taking pictures of! im so excited for him to try his cake! i got the valentines day cake mix and white frosting BUT i got pink and red icing coloring and litle bags to put the icing in to decorate.

so for valentines day for me sam cleaned the house SPOTLESS and i mean spotless! and did about 3 loads of laundry (which im stalling on folding towels as we speak =] ) and helped clean out my car! what more could ask for hes so perfect! and got me keesler!

of course im going to talk about Keesler now she is just the sweetest thing her and Kodi are BEST friends

they are always together looking for trouble. Klutz still hasnt warmed up to her quite yet its so funny tho when Kees goes running past klutz chases her and then bats her on the head several times and keesler just rolls over and takes it LOL

LOL that is Keesler kissing Kodi. They kiss all day long like little perverts she licks Kodi for a while then Kodi licks her in return. Ill go to kiss her and shes wet its so gross!!!

Kodi has been allll about sam lately too! we stripped our bed of sheets to wash them bc little keesler pee'd the bed  and whenever we do this Kodi goes CRAZY! he looooves not having sheets on the bed it must feel good. He stretches out and rolls around just such a happy boy!

cows arent going to milk themselves

i work at 12:30 today so this blog might be short!

But baby keesler has been home for about 5 days now and she is blending in well with our family. she is so funny. she wants to be Klutz little side kick but klutz isnt having it.

in this picture i was flushing the toilet over and over for them!

but she finally isnt scared of Kodi anymore and they're best friends kodi loves her so much but some times doesnt realize that she is SO little and he gets TOO rough with her

kodi rough housing her! she has really grown so attached to Sam if sam and i are both sitting on the floor she instantly goes to him!! lol she loves him

but other than that work has been going great and we find out our duty station in a month!!

excited!

Im excited for tomorrow i should be able to get baby keesler!! im so so so so so excited

on also exciting news my friend Sandra is coming to visit!!! She just text me and told me shes coming to see me in april! i miss her so much! im always telling my friend Ariel about her and how much fun we always have! i cannot wait until she comes

and only one week and 3 days until my seester gets here and then only one month and 2 weeks until i go home! I wish sam could come with me. Ill be going home for about a week! im going to miss him of course and i know he misses his family and wants them to come down too!

and i want to take every one to Ship Island

there is a ferry you can take there to the island for about 12 dollars i believe i want to go there first thing when it opens in march! i still have to buy a bathing suit tho! i wore my last one out so much that it started to get see through and that is NOT good lol

sweet sunday

today was looooong day! I woke up at 10ish =] sam and i hung out for a little bit then went to lunch at El Rancho it was delicious! we have a delicious mexican resturant back home called Puerta Vallarta and El Rancho gave it a good run for the money. But then i headed into work i was there ALLLL day and got home around 8 pm and watched the Super Bowl with Sam He had hamburgers on the grill waiting for me!

Im getting so super excited about baby Keesler i think about her all the time! i cant wait to get her home and hopefully its tuesday so since she has to have surgery! im worried about Kodi wanting toplay with her so much and she is sore from surgery i think ill keep her locked up in the bathroom for a while until she heals!

on other news! My sister comes in one week and four days! i seriously CANNOT wait until she gets here i wish she could live with me!

my other sister wren was supposed to come see me in March but she asked that instead of her coming down here she could buy my plane ticket home for Koltons birthday! so ill be going home for almost a week in march! i CANNOT wait to see everyone it will be 2 months since i last saw my mom a month since i last saw my nephews and 4 months since ive last seen wren.

Sam and i should find out in early march where we are PCSing to in june.

our options are

2. Hawaii
3. Illinois (my choice)
4. Louisana
5. Arizonia
6. South Carolina

if we went to illinois i could drive home EVERY month! that would be great and there could be a Michaels close by!

were getting a cat and she really really is adorable

this is her! we were going to name her Kritter but we decided to go with Keesler!! After the AFB were stationed at and her nick name will be Kees. So we have Klutz Kodi and Keesler. she is so sweet and we can get her next week! she has to get fixed so she cant  have babies. i paid 7 dollars to get her extra pain medicine so she wont be in any pain after wards. i love her already.

I have been SO busy lately between working and trying to spend time with Sam.i work 8 days in a row then two days off.

hopefully this is the day!

well Sam and I are headed to the Humane Society today to hopefully get a new member for our family....

we were going to get the cat that was in my last post but she decided that she wanted to adopt her and her brother together. So we cant get her =[ which really sucks because she was perfect. but im hoping to find something very very close to her today

but we all know how my last visit to the humane society went not so well

but im hopeful and the schedule hasnt came out this week yet but im hoping i have sunday off so i can go to church i havent been in a long time and i kinda miss it

im still loving all my friends esp my af wive friends thier are still some crazzzyyyy ones but thankfully i dont talk to them any more and i deleted them off my page!

hi ho hi ho off to work i go

today was the LONGEST day ever! i went into work at 8:45 i like to be early and then i found out the GM was coming. Now I've heard horror stories about him. BUUUT I'm a pretty charming person so i figured i could get on his nice side

NOT HAPPENING

lol OMGosh he was SO mean he freaked out and asked me why i let this customer leave the store i WANTED to tell him its kidnapping to keep them buuut i figured he prob doesn't like smartalicks so i just said sorry blah blah we were so busy today i did over 2,500 in orders just by myself which in custom framing is abooouuutt 11-15 pictures which is usually what we do in a week! I was crazy proud of myself and your supposed to try to up sell as many mats as possible i did at LEAST 3 mats on 75% of my orders which is also a huge deal then when the GM left he came up and thanked me for working so hard which felt nice... hes still a jerk tho lol

but my cat Klutz and my dog Kodi Usually hate each other but ever since the death of baby poki they have been BFF they snuggle together rub up against one another so strange how they started getting along annnddd i think i found a kitten i want

she was rescued from a Hoarders house here locally she is so stinking cute I've got to have her. so i emailed the lady and told her i wanted her and hopefully i should be getting her Sunday! if everything goes right. and Kruise would be her name unless any one else can think of a cute name for a girl cat that starts with a k

another day

well today was a looong day. I took sam lunch at 1050 as usual hes so wonderful

then i came home and cleaned and looked online alllll day for a kitten. i cant seem to find the perfect one. I was one that looks similar to Poki and i want to name it Kruise but so far its not happening. then my friend Ariel came over and did her laundry and brought her pup over to see Kodi theyre best friends lol =]

then i went to the gym and worked on the oliptical and played raquetball and i have zumba tomorrow. im excited i keep thinking todays monday haha

i work 9:00am to 1:30pm tomorrow i looove my job so much i like not having a supervisor and working by myself

happy tuesday

Hello my two followers lol today should be a good day i sent my letter off to the lady who found my dearest Poki and i wrote a little memorial letter to poki as well to help with the process

that is poki and her daddy just hanging out about a month ago she was such a cuddle bug.

Other than that with Poki life here in mississipppi has been good. weather has been great lately.

Sam and I are vacation phenes and he is starting to get the itch lol! we go to a place called Ft Myers every year last year we went twice and on a cruise and to North Carolina

but he isnt done with tech school until June and he was told yesterday that he may not be allowed to take leave until 6 months after that! Poor sam wouldnt have been on a vacation in over a year! I feel like im living a vacation every day living right on the beach and i really like work so it kinda doesnt feel like work lol.

AND we recently found out that your not allowed to take your dog on the beach..whoop! we take Kodiak there all the time

speaking of dogs i have puppy fever  we adopted a puppy a month ago his name was franklin and he was MEAN! i didnt like him so we took him back(lower post)

reconnecting

hey its been a while a lot has happened

i love my job still its going great got my first paycheck and it was nice!

on sadder news i lost my dear baby Poki my 2 year old manx cat.

she had ran away on christmas eve and then a month later i found a flyer that said found and it was her and i called the number on it and she said that she was sorry to tell me but my cat ran out of her house and was hit by a car =[ she said she was so sorry to tell me that way i told her it was ok and she then asked if i wanted her collar i told her no.

well after sam got home from school that night i decided that i actually did want her collar so i asked if sam could get it for me bc it was just too painful for me to think about that. well sam went and got it today and the lady did the sweetest thing for me (a stranger) she sent me her collar a clipping of her fur and and a ink blot of her paw. that meant so much to me it was unreal. i feel so much closure just having that with me i hope sam doesnt mind but im going to save it. i miss her so much mostly at nights but she wrote me this sweet poem and it help me heal too. im forever thankful for her i sent her a letter to let her know.

but other than that nothing much has been happening

im looking for a new kitty or puppy i havent decided but i think sam and i are going to wait until we find out where were going to be stationed.

alright everyone im going to crawl in bed with my puppy and my kitty and dream about poki frolicking in the fields!

long weeks

i havent been on here in what seems like forever

well my mom came and went =[

it was so nice having her here we went to dirty new orleans, all the casinos and she got to go on base and see all the cool sites and ppl marching randomly LOL

then sam and i have been hanging out of course

i started my new job at Michaels Crafts and it has consumed! me lately i work literally every day but i really enjoy it. i work in the frameing shop making custom frames for customers... im still learning.. but im a hand on learner and i never get to do anyhting by myself lol

so if i dont DO it ill never learn  o well

kodi is good and so klutz and NOOOO poki she still hasnt came home

but ill update more later im exhausted

not so good.... again

today started out good woke up with Sam at 4 am ugghhh lol couldn't get back to sleep then finally fell back asleep then woke up again at 10am i got up mozied around then made Sam a grilled cheese turkey sandwich and took it to him at his school house!

on the way back to my house i stopped and picked up my friend Ariel we went and hung out at my house for a while and then i had a job interview at 1pm at my FAVORITE STORE EVER! Michael's Craft store. i love that store so much LOL they hired me on the spot and i filled out all my paper work right then and there and poor Ariel had to wait in the car for over an hour! but I'm so happy to be working there i know I'm really going to enjoy my job. Every ones so nice people came in and introduced themselves to me while i was filling out paper work in the room. forgot my cell phone so i couldn't text her and let her know lol

Then Ariel and I went to target i bought cheese LOL and Ariel got A GREAT deal on stuff for her house!

I looooooooooooove Ariel... we are just so laid back and relaxed when were together i feel like she could be my little sister =] shes great

i texted with my Melissa =] shes so great!!

then i came home to discover Kodiak had ripped up the carpet like a 1/4th of the living room!!!! so i KNEW Sam was going to be furious to say the least well i go out and greet him in the drive way when he pulls up and he got a ticket on base from a security forces. THEN he saw the carpet he was in a horrible mood. i made his favorite dinner baked spaghetti he had 6 beers and was tipsy he was being soooo silly i love him

then we hooked up the lap top to the TV and i webcammed with my nephews! it was so great

THENNNNN my sister dropped a bomb on me!! Shes coming down Feb 17th to the 21st

i am beyond excited. now i just have to get my other sister down here.

and my mom gets here Wednesday cant wait!

Not So Good

well today wasn't a good day.   Our big surprise was that we had gotten a puppy. Well we got him home and he didn't do well with the other animals  he snapped at Kodi and hurt klutz pretty bad he was outside i was trying to get him inside bc it was raning and he snapped at me. Im wandering if he had abusive owners before he came here ive never seen a dog that mean before just being a puppy

so we took him back and it BROKE my heart to take him back

the humane society acted like i was a devil for returning the puppy and like they didn't believe me i was insulted and embarrassed to say the least

but i had fun with Ariel again we went to the Airman's Attic and got TONS of stuff i got a nice nice nice nice scanner/copier/printer for FREE i have SO MUCH fun when i hang out with her

so my mom comes in 6 days  cant wait cant wait cant wait =]

i wish she wld just move down here

it rained all day today but i got a lot done and took poor Frankie boy back =[

i need some new books to preoccupy my time any good suggestions? i like fiction

so i go to my job to start paper work tomorrow so excited im finally doing it i cant wait to start making money to help sam out

sam and i had meat loaf and mac n cheese for dinner it was so so so good

tomorrow well be having chicken noodle soup prob =]

whatta day

ok soooo today was nuts.

I woke up and took sam lunch then went to pick up ariel.. Ariel and I had lunch with our friend Meg who lives not to far from us! we went to a little resturant called Shadys  we ate fried pickles and i had  a buffalo chicken salad and so did Ariel and Meg had a hamburger steak with mashies it was nice.

Im hanging out with meg again tomorrow then hanging with Ariel tomorrow too after i take samuel lunch were going to d iberville to look at furniture for her new house. im so excited for her bc she was worried she wasnt able to love on base but at the last second they were approved!

THHHEEENNNN i took ariel and jacob to look at their house to make sure it was ok (even tho they got a diff one in the end) then took them back then came home and started dinner.... then sam got home i read the rest of my book called Dark Secrets. Then they came over for dinner i made roast and mashed potatoes they were horrible i was almost embarressed to serve it to them. then we took them home and made a quick trip to wal mart.

Speaking of my book it has two parts to it and they are TWO different stories. The first one that ive finished reading is about a girl who has weird dreams about a house and life shes never seen or had and then to realize she was reincarnated as a murder victim whos there to avenge her self... it was ok but kind of lame

My mom comes in a week! im toooo excited! i cant wait its going to be so awesome to see her again and take her every where. I made a list today in my notebook of every where i want to take her!

Sam is still doing good in school although it seems to be getting harder and harder everyday hes so great i love him so much

im still waiting to hear back on my job from books a million im starting to get a little inpatient but this job would be great so its a once in a million shot so im willing to wait AND PLUS if we get stationed in Louisana there is a books a million right by base so i could possible transfer

im so curious now as to where we are getting stationed we find out in about two months keep your fingers crossed for us that these two months go by fast!

I decided to create a blog on a more popular blogging site in hopes to be discovered by a large newspaper company... juuuust kidding

just something to access a little easier

well so far if you haven't ready my old blog we've been ringing in the new year just spending time with each other and friends.

so in the new year what I'm  hoping for is to become independent from Facebook.  I'm on it TOO much

its nice to have this blog though so all my friends and family can keep up with what our crazy life is like.

We went to the hard rock cafe on Sunday and i had the BEST ice cream ever, it was called coconut seven layer cake it was amazing to say the least.  Then we walked around the shops. We were going to walk through the casino but i got ID'd!!! what in the world do i not look at least 18?? i left my wallet in the car so we just ended up sitting on a couch hanging out!

Then Today we were busy alll day! with a surprise were not telling anyone about Ive only told my friend Melissa! I'm waiting until my mom comes down to reveal the big surprise and NO were not pregnant lol! i know that's what every ones going to be thinking.

Speaking of my madre, she comes down in baassiiicallllly 8 days! I'm too excited its going to be awesome.

I plan on taking her to the hard rock cafe, the beach, on base, the beautiful piers, diberville

basically everywhere!

I'm going to end this BC its almost midnight!
